Working hours overlap
Your day is their day shift.
Sydney (AEST)9:00am
Manila (PHT)7:00am
Manila is 2 hours behind Sydney (3 in daylight saving), so your business day is a normal day shift for them.
Can they write automated tests?
Yes. Automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress is within scope. Framework choice depends on your stack.
Do they test APIs as well as UI?
Yes. API testing using Postman or REST Assured — including contract testing and schema validation — is standard.
How do they integrate with our development sprint?
They join sprint planning, write test cases from acceptance criteria, and execute test cycles aligned to your release cadence.
Can they maintain a regression suite long-term?
Yes. Building, maintaining, and extending an automated regression suite is a core long-term responsibility for this role.
What level of experience can I expect?
Mid-level QA Engineers with 3–6 years of experience are the most common placement. Senior test leads with framework ownership experience are also available.
