Questions
Hiring a social media manager
Something else on your mind? Our Australian team can talk it through.
Can an offshore SMM create original graphics and video?
Yes. Social Media Managers use Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Express to produce platform-ready graphics and short video content.
How do we maintain brand consistency?
Provide a brand style guide and content calendar. Most SMMs are comfortable working within strict brand guidelines.
Will they respond to comments and DMs?
Yes. Community management — responding to comments, DMs, and mentions — is a standard part of the role within agreed guidelines.
How do they handle negative comments?
Escalation paths are set during onboarding. Most routine replies are handled by the SMM; sensitive or escalated comments are flagged to local management.
What reporting do they provide?
Monthly channel performance reports covering reach, engagement, follower growth, and top-performing content, aligned to your KPIs.
